The new issue of PC World hs a New Products article on a tubular motherboard made by Aopen. The AX4B-533 Tube motherboard complete with Intel's 845 chipset, a speedy 533 Mhz frontside bus, and an onboard vacuum tube for audio! Too crazy...Check it out. "...And with music CD's the tube offered warm, full bodied sound comparible to a good home audio setup." ha!

I'm sure this was new to you.... I was amazed the first time I saw it posted as well. It really is amazing how many times it has appeared here, though. This is perhaps more revealing of how various audio and computer glossy rags borrow from each other in the attempt to avoid covering new territory. Chris

Do you have any idea how many times this has been posted here?

So some guy who sees an article for the first time gets all enthused and wants to share his discovery with others ... is it such a bad thing that he dares to post it, when it may have been up several times already? Have you considered that it may actually inform a bunch of others who weren't aware of it? Or, perhaps stop another 50-postings on the same subject by people who have now seen it? That's what information technology is all about.Look at the positives of this forum and don't pick holes. Not everyone has the time or inclination to sit in front of a computer all day doing searches. If you don't like a posting ... just tune out.

Excuse me. If you have seen this new article please disregard.

it's the 10,000 times that it's been posted here that have made it such an old, boring, played-out joke. in fact it's not even funny anymore... it's just become sort of rediculouse to think that anyone would actually post about this. check the archives.

I'mlways amazed at the number of people who post here who seem to be unable to use the search function, or bother to read a bit.
