I have an ARC Classic 30 amp. and Im planning to re-tube it. Some one had told me that I can try the KT 90 tube instead of the 6550's for better sound, but I dont really know if this is worthwile.Im looking for advice about this, maybe someone could help me please...

I would recommend giving Audio Research a call before retubing. ARC gear tends to be senstive to the tubes that you replace the originals with. ARC knows their gear, and what works best.
