Hi! The 1625 is a 12 volt 807. It was ruggedized for use in Hi-G fighter aircraft radios. CBS Hytron made a HY69, if you're very lucky to find them, is a cathodeless, filamentary cathode 807. The best! James

Hi,This 'HY69': Is it 2.5V like 1629 (another directly heated 6L6 model).
Hi! I'm not sure. I have some info buried somewhere in the file cabinet. Hytron made a bunch of cathodeless pentodes. I'll have to find it and look it up. James
