Tube DIY Asylum

I'm redesigning the tube/MOSFET hybrid from TAA issue 1/89. I intend to use it as a bass amplifier for Tympanis. I will be using Dyna Stereo 150 chassis and transformer (for output stage B+, +/-48VAC), one per channel. What is a suitable substitute for the Hitachi 2SK135/2SJ50 complementary pairs used in the output stage? The original ST150 used TO-3's, but if I must I can redesign for TO-247's.
