Very sorry to hear about your dad. I was a ham for about 50 years, and I also had a sizable collection of transmitting tubes at one time. Those numbers aren't too common in this hobby, but I'm sure they've all been used at one time or another. There's considerable "prior art" for the 811s.

811A amp. Someone could post that schematic.

Thank you. I think I'll see if I can find a 811 design I can build. It will have to be "newby friendly" and not too expensive. If I can't find such a thing, I'll check into selling them to someone into Ham or donating them to a museum or something.
