I tightened up the tube socket pins this morning with wooden tooth pics.
They are now much tighter than they were previously.
So far....no pops, clicks, or other noise.
We will see if that lasts or not?
If they do get noisy again, then out they go!
And maybe a little Deoxit will help.
FWIW, I stuck in three tubes that I had never used before.
A NOS-tested FISHER-branded 12AT7 tube, that was made in France by RTC.
A pair of NOS-tested Matsushita (Japan) EL84 tubes.
Amazing depth and soundstage, with very good detail and strong bottom end.
