Hello!
My transformer on secondary winding is 170vac.
I'm using solid state rectifier, how much dc voltage after the rectification?? Ballpark figure is fine.
I need at least 200v after rectification?
Thanks!
Follow Ups:
If I have a power transformer that is 225vac @0.15A and the B+ voltage of the audio circuit is 255vdc, is this transformer adequate for the appplication?
225vac 0.15 (239.8v at N/L) => Schottky Diode => Cap => > 225v???
Thanks!
I believe if you are going with a full wave bridge rectifier you multiply the volts x 1.4 which is 238v unloaded.
170VAC peak-to-peak? Or 340 volts?
If the secondary winding is 160vac @225mA instead of 170vac, it should be no problem to supply 230vdc after solid state rectification, right?
