Take a look at the heads, you should be able to tell whether they are 2 or 4 track.
To me a High Speed model is more desirable, but of course everyone has different objectives.
So this might not be the ideal machine for you, in which case selling it and buying what you really need might be a smart move.
Again... it all depends on your objectives.
Follow Ups:
See 2 stripes or bands in the center of heads, so 2-track I guess.
They both have two "stripes" but they have different sizes and spaces, you can find many explanations on line, like here:
Looks like the 2 track diagram, both bands in the middle. Guess not playing any pre-recorded commercial tapes.
There are also 2-track pre-recorded tapes, but not too many.
Since you already have the Sony, you should be all set.

Depending on how it was used and how often you may need to look at the tape brake component to make sure that they are functioning properly. How to troubleshoot if they need a replacement is when you notice the tape starts to spill over when you pushed the stop button during playing and or rewinding the tape. Also, the end of the tape sensor wore out over time, other than that this is a great machine to refurbish/restore.

Yes, was reading that...replace nylon pads with felt, etc.
Here's a pic of Revox A77's worn-out brake parts.
I have not looked inside just yet. The two black center knobs are missing, and not sure the other two are orig....don't match. Trying to source those.
The clear outer knobs are intact. Also missing the red speaker on/off button. The for./rev.and play hub action seem good, but capstan not really into it.It turns freely, but not near fast enough. This is with no tape threaded on it.
