If a power capacitor stores what it is fed from the mains does that mean it could store poor electricity. I use to leave my system powered up 24/7 but I find it benefits by being powered down occasionally. I did post this over at preamp asylum, I think they though it was a joke. Thanks.

By the time the power gets to the filter caps it is DC, pulsating DC to be exact. The filter caps filter the pulses (ripple) and leave smooth DC.
No, a capacitor cannot store RF. "poor" electricity is made "good" by capacitance.
