... why is it that with my Klipsch Cornwalls there is no 'suck out' like there is with alot of other speakers?
I used to describe this to a friend as 'You can't run and hide from these'
In the next room they sound just as full and no matter what size room they never sound weak, played at the same volume level as other speakers.
Now I'm a huge fan of these loudspeakers, and I'm not trying to recruit... I'd just like to have an answer to the question,

...that the Cornwall's sensitivity allows for greater dynamics and doesn't compress as much. Their dedicated mid horn might be crossed over for the driver's optimal efficiency. (Much can be done with the crossover to "revoice" the speaker if desired -- quite tweakable.)
If I understood from his biography, PWK seemed to equate efficiency with fidelity -- there might be much wisdom in that as a design philosophy.
