My Dad brought a Sharp Optonica stereo system in 1982. At the time we lived in Kuwait. When I was 6 he died and we moved back to England. As soon as I saw the system I thought there was a piece missing. For the past 18 years I have been convinced that there should be a graphics equaliser or equivalent with the system because I can remember watching something of this nature on the stereo as a child. The part numbers I have are:
SM 105 - Amp
ST 105 - Tuner
RT 105 - Cassette Deck
AD 105 - Remote Computer ControlIs there anyone out there (lol) that can tell me if there should have been a graphics equaliser with this range? I know that they are all separates but I thought that was how the system was supposed to be as the complete package. I am looking for a picture or someone who knows this range well that can finally put my mind at rest and tell me whether I am just seeing little flashing lights in my head or if there really is a piece missing from the shipment sent from Kuwait!
The remote is also missing so if there is anyone who can tell me if I can get this "missing piece" if it exists and/or the remote I would be really grateful.
Follow Ups:
Hi, I also have exactly the same system as you. I do not have a manual
though. I was wondering if:
A: If there was remote to be had.
B: If there was graphic equaliser.
C: If you could help out with a copy of the manuals.
i could send you a return stamped addressed envelope.
regards
Roger
