Howdy Rod,Given your responce to my (half in jest) request for a Poster Filter: I'm wondering if there is a chance that you could support some sort of indication/reader (registered reader?) on whether I've already read a given post? Perhaps a color/font change...
You might have noticed that periodically I generate quite a few hits as I run my script to refresh my Internet Explorer cache so that IE will show the posts I've read with different color links. I have to do this sometimes when my system crashes and looses this info (even though it still has the history of the links I visited :)
Anyway enough rambling.

I'd have to think about that one Ted. New since last visit isn't too terribly hard, that would only need a last visit time stamp cookie or something. Tracking every read post gets, rather large, quickly.
Howdy RodYeah I know that it gets large. I was just hoping that by restricting it to registered inmates you might save some space (or perhaps supporting inmates ?) Also if it only kept track of the last week or so that would save space.
It was just a thought :)
