Turn on Moniker Protection and that will force anyone posting as MAP, map, MaP or any other variation to use a password. Just login to your account and use the Manage/Change link.

Moniker's do not differtiant on case because in some cases, like Inmate Systems, these names are used to create files. Allowing case variation would break a lot of other things. As well, the database doesn't distinguish case either, so it's no really possible.
