For some reason or other these pages won't remember my moniker or password so I have to type it in every time; if I make a mistake I can't correct or delete the post because of the registration 'Catch 22'. I don't have this problem on any boards other than the Video and Film Asylum; this doesn't appear to be something that I can correct from my end, but it's reminiscent of a similar problem that I had a long time back. Note: We recently purchased a new computer (switched from Microsoft to Mac), but that shouldn't have presented a problem.
BTW, I also posted this at the Video Asylum page, just to cover all the bases.

Do you login each time your visit the Asylum or once a day?
The Video and Film boards are on a different domain and can not see your login cookie from the Asylum forums. You have to login separately or a second time. If you have your browser set to save cookies and you don't delete them, they should stay there forever. If you delete cookies on closing the browser, then you would have to login when you visit after restarting.

There is no problem with the Asylum remembering cookies on the other forums, but no adjustment to my browser settings seems to impact my having to type in my moniker and password each and every time I post on the Film & Video boards. When I check & click 'Remember my Moniker & Password' the little box remains highlighted but it doesn't remember it, and the next time I try to post the 'Moniker (Username)' remains blank.
I don't delete cookies when closing the browser and it obviously does save them for some sites/pages; this a post to post issue, which is very frustrating.

It a lot better IMO and it's easy to look at your cookies and see what's going on.

I just don't know. Are you using Firefox or IE?
Your profile is set to remember you, so that isn't even necessary to check it off when you login. Also, do you see your name in the upper right corner of the page?
Is, you are logged in and it may be a problem with the Javascript just not entering your name in the message dialogue.
