I was just wondering...why would you insult someone for 1.making some simple spelling errors (this is not an English class) and 2.simply stating an opinion? It is true; it is impossible to know how a speaker sounds without actually hearing it. It just makes me sick to my stomach when I see other people being so cruel to others for no apparent reason. I mean, for example, there are people that die every day by the hand of people who like to murder others. Why don't you go chew out someone who enjoys killing people? Or maybe, take out your anger by hitting the crap out of a punching bag. Or, you can go find that bully who teased you all throughout high school and insult him/her? Try not to be so cruel to people and you may discover that you will be treated the same as how you treat others. Have a wonderful rest of the day and enjoy your life to its fullest:)

I agree entirely! What does nigels insults have to do with the speakers that are being discussed? I see a (P) after nigels name, I'm assuming that this is his way of saying that he is an industry professional, though in 35 active years in the hobby, I have NO idea who he is.I will say that nigel, equipped with spell check and Roget's Thesaurus, proved that he is either having a bad day or was absent during the manners/politeness portion of his finishing school. It seems apparent that he missed salemanship day as well, since he is boldly attacking Steve. Even though we have no idea what nigel is "professionally" involved with, I feel that he has somehow his affected his sales ...
Good day to you sir!
Who is this Nigel character, indeed. Some say he's the ghost of a dead and long abused high end audio salesman who was asked one to many times if the Dunlavys he was about to demo to an insufferable newbie were as good as Bose.
Others say he's the spirit of criticism in all of us. The alter ego who can say what we all really feel inside but don't due to the pressures of circumstance and decorum.
And at least a few think he's one of the few folks who gets it and simply doesnt tolerate stupidity and says what he thinks no matter what.
Me? I think he's just an obnoxious Brit with a sharp tongue who occaisionally pens humorous and inciteful reviews of Legacy Audio products.
