Does anyone have a copy of the November, 1999 What Hi-Fi review of the Dynaudio Confidence 5 and, if so, would you be willing to e-mail it to me?....can't seem to get one from What Hi-Fi...thanks.

I don't have a copy of it although I have read it. Its not a very substantial review. Its only a couple of paragraphs. The gist of it was that they were incredibly smooth and detailed, but need a TON of power. I don't think they're as power hungry as what they seemed to indicate. In any event, if you're looking for some valuable feedback on these speakers, you won't find it in that review. I don't know of any other reviews on the c5 anywhere either.
I have Dynaudio Confidence 5 speakers and I drive them with a Gryphon Callisto 2200 amplifier, that gives "only" 200 watts at 8 omhs. It seems to be enought. Incredibily smoth, very wide soundstage, really deep image. Just a wonderful speaker.
