That "amplifier" is a PS Audio regenerator...So just swap the rack for where the PS Audio is? That I could do, and I just might. Thanks.
Follow Ups:
That should really help with minimizing diffraction with the towering rack.
Here ya go
I'm thinking you're gonna hear a tad more focus now that the right speaker can breathe more freely into the room. :)
Thanks for the advice.
You're welcome. Likely not the kind of difference your wife will notice from the kitchen(!), but I find that every little bit helps. :)
Would just like to give a high five to E-Stat & sberger in this thread for conducting an audio discussion in the way I always felt these discussions should progress. A question followed by an answer that challenged the OP initial mindset; followed by a polite explanation, the OP acceptance to try it and a happy enough ending.
When discussions follow this type of model they not only provide real anecdotal information but more importantly help to reinforce the reason most of us long time subscribers remain loyal members and develop friendships.
While I understand that snarkiness is a reply may provide the poster with some measure of instant gratification, it is an approach which is lossy in the end to both the poster and the Asylum community at large.
