Mooving soon and looking at different room set up possibility.
Would like suggestions on a full range speaker that would work in 12 x 17
Thanks for your efforts !

With sound absorption panels and other room treatments you can make almost any speaker work. I had Revel F52's in a room that was 11 wide and 14 feet deep. I had a home made bass trap in 1 corner and 6 panels properly placed.
Given the room size, I think you would be better off with a small floorstander with bass extension down to the mid-upper 30s, or a stand-mount. And then get a sub if you feel you're missing anything down low. The reason is that you will have a strong room mode in the low 30s (corresponding to that 17' dimension) and a lot of room gain below that.
I have a room that is roughly 13x16x8. When I've tried putting relatively full range speakers in it, I get exaggerated low bass and booming, especially around 35 Hz. Some people like the boom, but I find it to be annoying and distracting from my enjoyment of the music.

I guess most folks here know this - but... besides the bass traps, I also find adjusting the listening position can be a big help to arrive at a desired bass response.
I have Proac D-40r speakers in my 11 x 17 listening room and they work quite well. I have pictures posted on Audiogon under my system. My user name there is also jperry
Maybe some Acoustat 2+2's or Model 3's? Full range stats are nearly impossible to beat.
Claude, have you given up on your DAL options or just looking for other alternatives to consider?
Aside from the 12' width room limitation, there are not many "full range" speaker options if you're looking to capture anything close to the 16 Hz in a few organ recordings without spending much more than your SC-Vs are worth. At least if you're not willing to consider adding subwoofers.

I am looking at a different room option, I doubt Dals would work in such a small room. So yes , before I make a final decision, I am looking for alternatives that would work in the smaller ( 12 x 17 ) room. Wife issue...
I am considering a pair of 1st generation Ultima Studios for example. But I may yet decide to go with the larger room without spouse approval.
