I finally decided to demo the ATC . My local dealer that I've been doing business with for the last few months is willing to let me try a pt next weekend. This is my small room with my rega Manley snapper set up. The dealer Audio Doctor out of Jersey City NJ has been great to work with. I'm getting support I never had before and security of knowing he has been in business more than15 years. I think the ATC Manley will be a good match.
I'll post pics and reviews when done. This would be to change up but not sell my excellent pk quad 57's

As a former ESL57 owner (we moved to a smaller place so they had to go) I'm very interested to hear what you think. I have Harbeth C7s and I've been thinking about trying out the ATCs which people seem to love, especially the V2s.
What are the problems or issues if any that you've experienced with the Harbeth Compact 7's?
I really like the ATC models I've auditioned over the years. I bought my Line Magnetic 219IA 24 watt SET amp based on auditions with the ATC SCM 100s.
Are we talking about the SCM 19v.2?
If you are sampling the ASM 19 v.2 (current model), then I think you will enjoy it with the 100 watts a Snapper produces. I'm running the same speaker with SS 250 watts fed by a tube pre and am delighted. The 19 v.2 is a decent upgrade over the 11v.2, that is not adequately conveyed by a cursory view of their respective specifications. Hopefully, the 19v.2 is fully "run-in" to present is best operating characteristics (impactful macro-dynamics, well-defined if somewhat limited LF extension, excellent micro-dynamics, airy HFs). The mid-range (~200 - 2000 Hz) is superb.
Cheers.
Version 2 and are the dealers demo's that have a couple hundred hours.
.
Looking forward to your review.
