with Cardas unplated solid copper binding posts. Try cleaning the posts with copper tarnish remover instead of the typical audiophile contact cleaners like DeOxit. I've lately switched to using hardware store tarnish removers on bare copper binding posts and silver spades. The restoration of finish and improvement in SQ is dramatic.

Carburetor cleaner and brake cleaner work great 👍 lets you tweeters breath better and your woofers stop on a dime.

I didn't think it was permissible to mention such a thing here at AA.
I thought the golden ear crowd got wildly upset at the very mention
of DBT (rather like democrats when they hear the "T" word).
Well Mike, since my post was tongue-in-cheek, the DBT reference was not serious. I'm surprise some seemed to take it so.

When conducted properly, i.e. testing the controls and eliminating unsupported assumptions from the outset, they work just fine for determining gross differences and user preferences. Which is what Harman (now Samsung) does with its DBT single speaker tests using the "shuffler". Magnepan tests its new designs using blind testing as well. Nothing wrong when done correctly - which is rarely the case.
Most folks here, however, do fall on the floor laughing when reading stuff from Arny Krueger, E. Brad Meyer, etc. It's clear they don't know what they don't know. :)
Well, if audiophiles approved Flitz using a DBT, I would not recommend it.
I have found that Flitz works very well.
