Try contacting both Madisound and Parts express to see they can recommend a replacement tweeter.
You are not even the first THIS WEEK to blow a tweeter that way.
Best of luck finding a replacement.

Mavin.com has polk tweeters for 35.00 a pair.
I wonder if someone up above (or below) has something against our speakers?
I mean dali epikons with blown woofers but not the tweeters, one pair of them dead completely, and then mine! On the way to being on the 3rd set of tweeters (1st was factory)..
I did have a woofer voice coil in a decent RCA bookshelf speaker catch fire when the USS Arizona exploded in the movie pearl harbor when i was watching it on vol 50 out of 70 on a like branded receiver. the receiver wouldn't turn back on for about 15 mins.
Seems to me you need a sub to handle the bass, or get something
larger than bookshelf size if you keep overdriving them. Big explosions
over bookshelf speakers is asking for trouble.
It was an accidental not paying attention to the volume and not knowing a source component was on that blew the tweeter not intentional high volume. I am goint to get a limited time discounted crossover terminal cup for a sony passive sub I found.
I was intending to just keep the raw woofer, but i am too lazy to build anything lol.
I use the system mostly for music and movies at lower volume. I might get another receiver with digital input later on...
If you don't have the equipment and experience to match up a 3rd party tweeter, you're likely to end up with something that doesn't perform as well. For example, it could be several dB louder or quieter than the original and probably won't blend well with the woofer without crossover changes.
I recently bought some parts from them for a 20 year old Monitor 4 bookshelf. They still have some parts for legacy speakers.
Mavin.com sells surplus of the original tweeter.
