In Reply to: RE: Using an EQ instead of Dividing Network, Is this Possible? posted by Inmate51 on December 09, 2016 at 15:39:19
You seem dis-inclined to discuss my questiob, but I suppose I can respond to yours first. If you define "flipper" to include a 71-yr old wanting to arrange a new home for a speaker that's been on a shelf doing nothing for six years, then yes I suppose I am.
Now, what about using an EQ instead of a crossover?

So, this isn't an acquisition which you want to re-sell?
Yes, I will be selling the Tannoy as soon as I can evaluate it, it's worth over $2K if it is in good shape. I no longer have the facilities (or the urge) to build an enclosure, nor a mate for a stereo pair nor a room big enough to do it justice. So it will need a new home.
But 1) this is not the proper forum to offer it and 2) I (think I) need to rig a dividing network to play with it and hear how it sounds.
If you want to make an offer you can PM me.
