I've been out of the audiophile seen for a while and I just came across this site just now. What timing! To get to the point I have a pair of IV/A's and yes I will hold onto them for my dear life!!! The hard part was convincing my wife to let me keep them after I got married. I have a small house and my wife thinks the speakers are ugly. The only place I can place them is in the front room. I convinced my wife to respect them by saying it's an investment. I feel these speakers if kept in excellent condition will never depreciate and possible slightly appreciate like in my case since I bought them second hand at a steal 6 years ago.
On a different note, my friend had the V's and we did a side by side comparison with the IV/A's which I believe not many have had the opportunity to do. I would have to say the sound difference is there but extremely marginal especially if you consider the size difference. Not everyone can house the V's in their home while maintaining proper acoustic.
Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy the picks and please ignore the McIntosh speaker to the far left LOL!

Hey man, thanks for the photo. This is so cool!
I have just purchased a pair of the used SC-4 from a dealer in OH. The speakers are traded in from a previous owner toward a pair of new Wilson Sophia 3. This pair of SC-4s are in excellence condition with their original boxes. I paid less then $2K for them. I think it's a good deal but they are in black oak finish and I hate oak finish and black color! But considering the price, I will try to live with them. I have just rearrange the audio room last weekend and hopefully I can move in the SC-4 sometime this week.
I will try to post some photos of the speakers after I set them up.
Fortunately my wife loves the sound of my system, using the huge Dunlavy SCIVs or the Fulton Js, which look like a huge black refrigerator, and lets me position them wherever I want!
Here's another pick to show you the size of the V's...but then I'm short...I scale in at a whopping 5'6"! LOL!
