Wow, interesting! Maybe try both the Dared and 300B amps for a while ... hmmm ... can the Tannoys be bi-amplified? Might be too much to think about ...!

Too much is right, they could be, but I would probably need a electronic crossover. That just gets too complicated.
AB.
yep, certainly (for best use) need an external crossover or at least filtering on the inputs to the amps. Maybe one of the other amps suggested would be 'just the ticket' (likely an expensive one tho!).
I just got home from picking up my Decware Zen Torii Mk III amp at the factory in Peoria. Everyone above is right... 300B's doubled up do provide good results, but the increased cost is significant. Please read about the Torii on the Decware site, and how it specifically is designed to provide the clarity of 300B's through EL34's with the Hazen circuitry mod - 25 wpc!
I ordered mine the last week of January and it was finished in late May. I arranged local pickup and when I arrived it was on and warmed up. Steve said that it had about 25 hours on it, and it sounded quite good there for an hour. I have been listening for 2 1/2 hrs through my Canterburys and it is amazing! More time will result in better sound but it is already exhibiting more depth and power, at slightly under $3000. (Freight to Omaha would have added $62)
The amp is guaranteed for life and if it does not float your boat you can
easily sell it to someone who does not want to wait... Mine will not be for sale until it's in my estate! Thanks for reading.
