badman,
Thanks for the tip on Rythmik. They look interesting and I've sent them an inquiry. How would you compare them to TC Sounds?
From the website, Rythmik seems squarely focused on music while TC more on home theater and kids blowing their car rooftops off? I can't get over people using 2 of those monsters inside a car, let alone hi-fi aspects!
Yet the TC Sounds also seem to perform very well. Not cheap though, neither to buy nor to power.
Also checked the Creative Sounds, but I think they are not what I'm looking for. Nevertheless, thanks for that tip too!
Thanks!
Follow Ups:
Will provide excellent deep bass for both music and movies, but the TC sounds are in a class with very few competitors for the maximum output from a driver. But if you use a couple, which you should to spread the room modes around a bit, anyway, the rythmiks will not run out of steam- they will go LOUD in singles, but just not the world-class output of the TC.
Bass is supposed to sound big. 6.5" is not a woofer size.
Badman,
Rythmik looks interesting indeed. And their explanations about servo make sense - to me anyway.
Any experience with JL W7 driver? Needless to say JL subs are very well regarded. But their sub driver?
thanks for the input!
None with that driver sorry.
