For what it's worth: I purchased a demo pair of Verity Parisfal Encore's 7 years ago and this put an end to my desire to keep trying new speakers. Prior to that, I owned most of the speaker brands you mentioned and then some. For my tastes, the Verities are simply "just right." They do require a little more power than some, my ARC VS55 sounds great with them, but only at reasonable levels (that is, not head-banging volume) and sometimes I think a more powerful amp would keep a better grip on the bass. But compare this to all the latest and greatest "speaker of the month" models we keep reading about in TAS and Stereophile that "don't really come alive without a beefy solid state amp," then I would say the Verities are a breath of fresh air. Interestingly enough, I am strongly considering the Devore 9s for a second system I am trying to put together in another house. A bunch of audio reviewers who value music over sound effects purchased the Parsifals when they first came out, and the same thing is happening with the Devores.
Follow Ups:
I would agree that sonically the Parsifals and Nines are quite different - the Parsifals are lush and are equally at home with "small" music as "big" music, whereas the Nines have a far more laid back presentation (both literally and figuratively - the soundstage sits further back with the Nines).
But, both have a similar emotional impact - in both cases I feel one with the music that's coming out. So really, they are similar inasmuch as they are different, and I expect that anybody who likes one will like the other.

An update...
When I posted this, I was very close to deciding on my speakers.
In fact, I had already pretty much decided on the Devore 9's when I decided to audition a 2nd hand pair of Parsifal Encore's at my local dealer that had sold me the turntable and CD player I'm now using, and who knows my musical priorities. This audition was the night before I posted the initial message.
So when I heard the Parsifal Encores, my previously made-up mind started to reconfigure itself, and I was leaning towards the Parsifal - why? Because there didn't seem to be any way in which it was lesser than the 9's, and yet it had an added richness & body across the spectrum compared to the somewhat leaner 9's. And I like that richness, particularly when it's coupled with a more detailed and extended bottom end.
So...with my amp having plenty of juice to drive the Parsifals, there seemed to be no reason to go to the 9's, and my decision was made.
Am listening to music now on the Parsifals, and it's glorious. Music is both detailed and rich in equal proportions and just flows out effortlessly into the room the way it should. So now I'm onto the most fun part of this hobby: listening to my favorite albums for the first time, again!
For their new MSRP's, the Devore 9's really are a bargain and were clearly my choice in that range until I came across the Verity's. In fact, I preferred them to nearly all the speakers I heard even a bit above their price point. In the Verity line, new, the Finn is closer in price to the 9's than is the Rienzi, but the Finn can't touch the Devore IMHO - it just doesn't have natural tonality. The Rienzi is comparable and likely better than the 9's, but it retails for $3K more.
I'm sure I'd have been happy with the 9's, and am very happy to have gotten to enjoy them in listening sessions while speaker shopping. From the shopping I did, either I have very odd tastes, or Devore and Verity deserve much more attention than they get for their excellent speakers.
