Unless your AVR or processor has a "Pure or "Direct" setting that explicitly bypasses the DSP, all your signals go through it anyway. Most will handle the integration of the subs and main speakers better than your ad hoc arrangement.

If it is a Onkyo receiver in Pure Audio mode it will bypass the sub out as well in Pure Audio left and right only
Parasound P7 analogue pre-amp, will give you both using an AVR along side. The stereo main outs w/HT bypass has analogue bass management.
When using the multichannel inputs w/AVR then the DSP controls the bass management.
