Curious. Have you needed to replace woofer surrounds after all these years?

Hi Robert...
No, they look... and I think... sound great.
Dumb question: How would I know they needed replacement?
Where would I go? And... about what does this cost?
As always... thanks!

*Not* a dumb question!Generally, foam surrounds show fissures or cracks at failure. These cracks will be visible and may (or may not be) be immediately audible. But you probably should not fix something that is not broken. I will see if I can track down a good surround repair for your speakers. Mr. Nestorovic is ill and is not providing services currently.

Robert...
So nice of you! I don't think I see any cracks in the foam, and I am not too sure I should trust my ears. But nothing horrible jumps out audibly.
Interesting... I spoke with a helpful salesperson at Best Buy Magnolia who did some checking with colleagues in other stores. He wrote:
"I just called the Magnolia center in Seatle and we agreed on a couple of options. For the rear speakers the Vienna Waltz Gran [sic] line speakers. For the center we agreed on the Martin Logan Fresco center channel. It should balance well with the speakers that you currently have."
Do you (or others who read this) have thoughts? I was a bit taken aback, since these options are rather expensive on a teacher's salary.
And here I was looking at the Orb speakers. Am I living in a fantasy world?
