If one could characterize what a speaker manufacturer with its offerings sound like? What do people have to say about Energy speakers? One characteristic that I've noticed with every one of their speakers I've listenned to, would be strong bass. This goes back to even the late 80s. I put a down payment on a set of C200 speakers, and even for a small bookshelf speaker with 6.5" woofers, the low end is pretty impressive for such a speaker. Maybe Energys are warm sounding?
Follow Ups:
In a audio store with several brands and sizes lined up, I sat down and enjoyed the music a lot. Very engaging. I was sure it was the big floor standers till I walked over to them, Energy C4 book shelves. If I had a place to put them........I consider them neutral to detailed.
I am always impressed when I hear them. I was in a store and saw an inexpensive pair (about $200 to$300 as I recall) I could not believe the sound they were putting out. Basically my opinion would be that you get way more than you are paying for with energy speakers. Enjoy

Above is a picture of the C200 I will be getting, though mine will be Cherry finish.
