in Australia........thanks......DK
Follow Ups:
at a dealer again.....As I remember it sounded excellent on jazz and vocals....was slightly congested on classical.....the fit and finish was wonderful and the jarrah wood was beautiful.....I see them every now and then on Ebay.....
were once imported by Moondance audio, in the Colorado area, IIRC. Nicely, if simply built, they offered a good performance to price ratio. I especially liked their little speaker, the Equinox, (this was perhaps almost a decade ago). I found it compared favorably to the Totem System I's, especially if you inverted the woofer which was out of phase to the tweeter (well, the Totem was also inverted, too, IIRC).
There were a couple of reviews of this little speaker and the reviews were decent. They had a large Dapolito design too, IIRC, that also sounded decent. Cabinets were made from Jarrah wood, an Australian Eucalyptus, which had a nice fit and finish. I believe they changed distributors and elected to go more into the pro type speaker systems, for commercial use, and then they disappeared.

Krix are going very well in Australia and overseas, both for consumer speakers and commercial cinema speakers. They offer excellent value and are made in Australia.
They have quite a lot of new models....please check out:
