I would appreciate any knowledge/comments on a comparison of these two choices. I want a clear midrange and as good/clean bass as I can get for the money.I might also throw in Revel F12 Concerta for comparison.
Thanks.

I own a pair of ImageT45s and I found their greatest strength is also their greatest weakness. The PSBs are a very revealing speaker, more so than most. If the source material or the amp driving them are of poor quality, then you'll get poor quality out of them. They will not hide poor quality recordings. I found that out the hard way.
Now thats my take on the Image series. I find their mids more life like than any other speaker in their price range. Their bass is fast and tight and their sound is what i called laid back. They are a speaker that beckons to be listened too instead of throwing the sound in your face. The treble is clear, accurate, detailed and smooth.
I had owned PSB T65 for 8 months and sold on Audiogon. PSB sounds slightly darkish and warm (after 200 hrs of break in). Treble and midrange are mediocre at best. Their forte is that the bass is phemomenal, no subwoofer needed. They image quite well though. I never owned B & W so no comment there. Another member suggested Monitor Audio RS6. I bought them after selling PSB. RS6 required serious break in, say about 300 hrs or so. A true neural sounding speakers with fast and remarkable bass. Midrange is good for the price. RS6's neurality is dependent on the amplification though. Also the built quality of RS6 is just superb.
FWIW, I compared them briefly a couple of weeks ago. I can't remember which PSB, but I think that it was probably the Image T55. The B&W was the 684. I strongly preferred the B&W, and didn't care much for the PSB's sound, which struck me as lacking in clarity and kind of tubby-sounding. The B&W's were certainly clearer and more neutral sounding. I ran out of time at the shop, but the same shop did have the Revel F12; I listened for just a minute or two, and it sounded very promising, so I'll be going back to listen again, probably comparing it to the B&W 683's, which are about the same price.
You might want to put the Monitor Silver RS6 or RS8 speakers on your list; I heard the RS6's (in a different shop, alas, with completely different amplification) and liked them a lot.
