I've been looking for a simple way to send low frequencies to my passive "subs" which are in stereo, but it seems like most models that can do this are pro-type models or can only do mono. Would the Paradigm X-30 allow me to pass the low frequencies to my subs in stereo? Here is how I think I'd run itPreout => X-30 => Power amp in => Subwoofer (left and right)
If anyone has experience with this unit, could you please give me some advice or direction and let me know if this is feasible?
Follow Ups:
I've been using the X-30 for more than 6 years. It works well in my set up and the lets me dial in the setings of my sub(s) perfectly.
Outlaw ICBM can do this.
I have both and they are fairly nice. But, if you are looking for stereo sub output you'll need something else. The X-20 does have the nice feature of both line-level and speaker-level inputs. The X-30 only does line-level.
Though the Paradigmn X-30 has two low-pass line-level outputs, they are both put out the same mono signal.I would consider the Behringer unit below. Don't user the sub out which is mono, but instead the stereo low-pass filters. This unit is not only cheaper than the X-30 but also far more flexible. The only small drawback is that it has only XLR i/o's, however RCA-XLR adaptors are available in a couple of price ranges. By the way, this is an analog, not a digital, device.

How does the sound quality of the Behringer compare to the X-30? Thanks.
I haven't tried the Behringer.By the way, I like your suggestion for the Outlaw ICBM; it gives the most flexibility in a multi-channel setup. On the other hand, as a stereo solution it would be quite a bit more expensive than the Behringer.
Would it be possible for someone to post some pictures of the back of one of these? I can't seem to find any online. Thanks!
Don't know about the X-30, but my NHT X2 has all that and more.
What could I expect to pay for the NHT X2?
I think retail list is $299
The NHT X1 looks really nice, and it would do everything I wanted. How does your X2 compare to it? Any idea what I'd pay for one of these? Thanks!
The X1 is designed for NHT subs only. The X2 can be used with most any brand.
Where can I find one of these? I searched quite a bit and can only find info about the X1.
It's kind of a special order thing. It's an X1 without the NHT Evolution bass EQ curve in it.
