Call me crazy but have you considered better Klipsch's? RF7 maybe?

Yes they are high up on my list and I may end up with them. But I was still thinking that for $2500 on the used marker I could get something better than the Klipschs, but I am quickly finding this may not be the case. So I may just go for the RF-7's and save some money, I think you can get them used for around $1200. I could then use the rest of my money to upgrade my amp or buy lots of cd's! Ojne thing I was afraid of with the rf-7's is that they are a two way using a 10in woofer which is a little unusual, how good is a 10in gonna be in the midrange, usually the bigest u wanna go with a 2 way is a 7 or 8in so I am a little skeptical abpout that so i have to go listen to them. Another factor is that my amp(Exposure XV) isnt the quietest amp in the world and with 101db/watt it may be a little noisy, on my RF-3's the noise isnt detectable at the listening seat but if you get a few feet away from the speaker u can hear a hiss, I donno if the increase in sensitivity of the RF-7's will cause this to be much worse?? You need a pretty damn quite amp/pre-amp to be dead quite on speaker that sensitive!
