One thing... man, that 211 would have to have a lifespan measured in decades. Grid easy to drive... not much plate current...

Follow Ups:
Mikey and Gang,One thing you could do is use the BCP-125 to load the 211 and use a parafeed 10K.
The power trans could also be small if you used say a Signal Transformer unit for the filaments.
Best bet would be like a 417/5842 running at 10ma (best place for these suckers) cap coupled to a choke loade 211 using the BCP16-GCNI. I really have nothing that can measure this sucker, but would put the inductance at like 1500H. This configuration yields 2.75W class A but would go to A2 pretty darn easy!
I will offer this up... If someone can get me a pair of WE242's I would be happy to up another DIY projected tried and tested on ETM.

I'm sorry I don't have any 242's to lend.I hope some one does because I wanna build this amp you are scheming up!Does anybody how close the 242 and 211 are related?I thought the 242 was WE version of the 211.
