LA,
Sorry, I did not want to be rude.DX3 in front horn (Azura) was my only "magical" experience. However , I don't think I could live with it-to unreal. I'm almost done with my monoblock's clones of yama's A08, but I plan to run it with klipshorn bass bins and azuras 204hz plus t350 tweeters.I think I'm crazy but what a heck. I heard A08s (EML 45's) with ZU Druids recently. Nice but nothing to drool over.I'd be interested in your experiences with other HF speakers and this amp if possible so I have some idea how it might sound on full range speakers that's it, nothing more.regards, L

Follow Ups:
Keep in mind that Mr. Pass utilized some of the better Lowthers (DX-55's and DX-4's) when designing and tuning most of the "F" series of low powered amplifiers. I have had no personal contact with N Pass, so if I am partially off base, then I welcome his input here.
That said, from everything that I have seen and read, the Yamamoto line of electronics were designed and tuned for the big ole Altec (like) 15" coaxial drivers in reflex boxes. Seems like maybe there could be an advantage for the F-3 when driving my Lowther DX-4/Medallion back horns?I also have a pair of 150hz tractrix front horns on hand. My 13'w x 19' L x 8'6" H room did not allow this horn type to open up enough in my environment. I prefered all of my full/wide range drivers ,accept one, stuffed in the Medallions (properly tuned compression chambers) and set up in a semi near field (more controlled directivity?) listening position.
Just for reference, the Nirvana Super 8 sounded wonderful in the big front horns.More on the amplifier comparison later. But, if you need to make an immediate choice then toss a coin. They are both that good in my opinion.
