...rated 30W in the Sovtek monoplate 2A3 (and very similar 6B4G) vs. 12-15 watts in most NOS 2A3s. 300Bs range from about 30-60W dissipation rating. in SET you can get about 1/4 of the rated dissipation as output power so you can see how the Sovtek can be squeezed harder.
