The EH's are very rolled off in my system, the TJs rather bright, almost harsh. Depends on the OPT, circuit, cables, etc., I suppose. Glad you posted a different view, I'd rather my post wasn't taken as the last word!

It IS always amp and system dependant.
That said, I think 300Bs are FANTASTIC for HT.

45s are addictive.Maybe I’ll use the S8s with 300Bs for the fronts and my Vandys and the DR9 for rears in the new HT setup. Stick in a sub and it ought to do the job. Or maybe the Vandys up front? Whichever, there’s no doubt the wife would never bother to learn how to turn it on.
Geez, I need to sell some stuff.
I've got my Cardinals driving ESP speakers for my HT-2 channel only.
Wife loves it.
