About the best sounding Power Amps I have heard in recent months had a 45 driving an 845 IT coupled with Parafeed for both driver and OP. Lots of nickel lams in the tranny's and silver secondaries, etc.
All of the attributes of a 45 amp with 20 Watts a channel in not a bad thing.

    Doh! ;-> LOL - everyone but me seems to have heard them already. Glad to hear the opinions are good! I can hardly wait... should be coming my way soon. Sounding better than they look - then the sound must be unbelieveably good! I am excited.

        Terry, stop teasing me! ;-) hopefully I will see/hear them soon too. I am going to have Josh build me a linestage too I think. I just scored a dozen NOS WE 354A's for him as partial trade... it's the thyratron rectifier I think he is going to use in the line stage... big monster, 9" long, 16A filament... merc. vapor of course.
