an outstanding recording, each of them. The sound on the DVD is especially good. As for Emmy....back off I have waited years for her to answer my calls....
I look forward to seeing her every October when she comes and reigns as the Queen of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass fest. Between the pre and post parties, and 3 days of jumping into various combos with various people on various stages I see her maybe 8 times .....maybe more.

GW and DR play together, some of the finest playing, singing and songsmithing you can find. ELH loves to sing with them and it is stunning when she does....
Now that you mention Dave Rawlins, I do recognize him - a handsome dude. Elvis Costello for sure - I had thought so. ELH of course. But Gillian Welch looks quite different to what I see on the cover of her CDs.I'm a huge fan of Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlins. I have all her CDs:
- Revival
- Hell Among the Yearlings
- Time (The Revelator)
- Soul Journey
Which reminds me, about time for a new album from them.
