he plays the Walnut Festival in Kansas, saw him all 6 times I have gone. At 2 in the morning he goes out into the campgrounds and plays "the stuff I love" on Stage 5....
He uses the guitar box as an amazing percussion instrument....
Worth tracking down and seeing live for certain...

Tommy Emmanuel is a virtuoso indeed. I highly recommend "Live One" which is a 2-CD live show that is very representative of one of his live shows - he signed my copy "Tommy Emmanuel CGP" (CGP is Certified Guitar Player, something Chet Atkins affectionately declared some years ago). I saw TE at Goucher College in Towson, MD this past June from the front row. He is a passionate performer and has the chops to back it up.
