every year it seems like a song pops up that is that summer's SONG.
There are too many to count....
One of my favorites is Bryan Ferry and Roxy

"Summertime, Summertime", The Jamies. a piece of simple doo wop fun. It always lifted my adolescent spirits.
Not a big fan of The Fifth Dimension but I do think of summer whenever I hear this song....
way too old for you guys here except for maybe Old Dude. Bananarama's Long Cruel Summer (or something like that)
A lot of Southern rock reminds me of summer. for some reason. Like Sweet Home Alabama, Ramblin Man, etc.
