Here's a little tip. Not quite to the extent of BSCD2s, but, for reasons unknown to us, SHM-CDs sound better, after you have left them in your car stereo all day and all night.
When this SHM-CD of Overkill's excellent The Years Of Decay [WQCP-1371] was new, it sounded...blah. My friends and I used it in our car stereos, as we commuted to work and sports. Thus, it was left within those car stereos, in the daytime heat, and nighttime chill.
Weeks later, we brought the SHM-CD indoors, and played them on home stereos. Hmmm... The sound now had better focus, frequency extension, transparency, imaging, control, and precision.
So leave your Doors SHM-CD in a car stereo [modern-day cars no longer have CD players], come back to it after a couple days, then play it at home, and see its sonics have changed any.

Follow Ups:
I guess Digital just makes people crazy.
Simply want the best pressing, like those that enjoy Vinyl.
Is this similar to, you better call Jerome?
But the idea that leaving it in the car for a few days will "improve" it is absurd.
Maybe Bake it in the oven too.
Jerome said that playing SHM CDs several times would improve them.
Or that using the Remote on an SACD Player would damage the playback somehow, even though no-one here could ever hear it.
And other weird Jerome-Only things, going back 15 years for me.
That's what I meant, it was a Jerome-Quality bizarre idea.
Digital, and all the supposed Tweaks that go with it can take people off the deep-end!
BTW, I have 2 SHM CDs, and they sound great.
Right from the start.
Hopefully, won't get too burned out, over-listening to the CD.

where did your purchase this SHM-CD set?

Thank You- FenderLover
did you order from a Japan seller? If so, how long does it take to receive?
Back, when it was announced. Think that was early May this year. It just came out, so maybe a week?
Yes, it was a Japanese Importer that shipped it to me, from Amazon. Not direct from Japan, like some of Amazon's photography sales.
if you recall the seller, please post.
Thank You.
Sorry, do not have the receipt, anymore.

Perhaps under your Amazon order history? Feedback history?
Just sez Amazon.
