...saw it last night at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Terrific show with all of the Pink Floyd greatest hits.
He started with "Breathe" and the third song was a spectacular version of "Time". That was the peak for me or maybe I was just peaking.
He played for 2 - 1/2 hours with a break in the middle. Other highlights were "Us and Them", Dark Side of the Moon", the acoustic guitar intro to "Wish You Were Here", "Pigs" and of course his finale, "Comfortably Numb".
He played about 3 of his new songs in the middle which gave us a break. Reminded me of a PF cover band. Nothing to make me run out and buy it.
Follow Ups:
I love going to see Roger Waters play live....unless he's doing his greatest hits!
I'm just tired of hearing those songs. Played to death on the radio.
His 1987 Radio KAOS show was astonishing. The album is arguably his weakest offering, but the show was outstanding. Loads of surprises.
The Wall was superb too.
When he played DSotM in it's entirety about 11 years ago, it was really boring. Just sounded like hearing the album. No real edge to it. Gilmour's Floyd is even more boring to watch. I'll take Pompeii over Pulse any day.
Otherwise, Thanks! for sharing your post-show report.
Thanks. The Wall shows were known for the overwhelming scale and visual aids. Was this one as impressive on those two aspects?
Mike -
Having seen The Wall and Us and Them in the same venue, to me, The Wall was better. More intense, better visuals, and. . . a large wall : )
I enjoyed the second set of the US and Them show better than the first. It's hard to beat Pigs and Dogs back to back.
That said, his shows have no equal in the rock world that I am familiar with.

...I saw him do The Wall in 2012 and it was much larger and more impressive - the visuals were more creative and overwhelming.
Here the focus was more on the music - although in the middle of the show screens were brought down into the center of the arena making a "T" with the one in front for all of the "Pigs" visuals and Trump bashing.
I have no problem with that. The music is what counts. This could be it for tours, so you are lucky to see him now.
President Trump bashing- does RW even live in the U.S.A. ?
