Great Brazilian singer and composer. His falsetto is uncanny.Wayne Shorter featured him prominently in his 1975 record Native Dancer:

Bingo! I must have 20+ LPs by Milton. What an otherworldly voice that is often just mesmerizing.
Thanks again!

Yea, that sounds pretty cool, 70s vintage. Was just listening to the recent On Fillmore Happiness Of Living and it has some of those qualities, in a more modern package. It's a duo of Glenn Kotche (Wilco) and Darin Gray (Jim O'Rourke, Tweedy, William Tyler, etc). This one is more spontaneous than what thye've done in the past, lively and prominently featuring Brazilian group, Moreno Veloso.
On Fillmore
Made me pull out a couple old Brazilian favorites, the great Tom Zé album from 1998, Com Defeito de Fabricação , and that led into Noon Chill by Arto Lindsay, lot of great stuff ...

...for turning me onto On Fillmore. I liked what I heard on Bandcamp. There is so much music from past decades to explore and enjoy that I sometimes fail to look at the contemporary scene.
On another note, I attended a show by Arto recently that is still reverberating with me. There were maybe 40 in attendance but Arto and his band were hot and kept us entertained.
Thanks for your recommendation and response.
