Should you run across an LP called 'Hoquiam" by Damien and Drake Jurado, purchase it immediately. While it was released on mp3, there was no CD and the LP is limited to 500 copies on the obscure St. Ives label. I'm fortunate enough to own a copy, and it is unquestionably my favorite work by Damien Jurado.

A frequent reader of various Asylum threads but not active posting. I saw your "...people here should like Damien Jurado" and had to respond. I can't speak for the entirety of his discography but the Swift trilogy, i.e., Saint Bartlett, Maraqopa & Brothers & Sisters of the Eternal Son are, in my opinion, remarkable recordings. I happened to have listened to all three last night, back to back. Hadn't listened to them in a while. They are beautiful and moving...other worldly. Treasured recordings in my library. Thanks for mentioning DJ.
