Tele via the neck pickup sounds amazing. I don't think the majority of Prince's fans knew how proficient he was on electric guitar. As far as being a well-round musician, he had it all: a great songwriter, arranger, vocalist, guitarist, etc.
Will be interesting to see how much of Prince's unreleased material is made available to the public. Apparently, he'd written & recorded a ton of songs that were never included on any of this albums.
I saw Prince at the Sanger theater here in New Orleans, he had a small combo and played a jazz set, that was when I realized what a great guitarist he was.

and, according to a musician I knew that apprenticed at Paisley Park, had been modified/tweaked
to Prince's tastes to a point where it was a UNIQUE instrument.
There are countless bootleg shows where Prince is playing as ferocious and beautiful guitar as ever recorded -
mostly small club after shows where the band stretches out and he cuts loose. Would like to find a boxed set of those.
