I don't know why, maybe the years, but I keep thinking it isn't true.

And it's Australian...
I know what you mean this week I discovered a bluegrass band that I really enjoy, called Iron Horse they do covers of alot of metal and rock, I wanted to ask him about them. But he was not there.
Last year, Larry and I had a nice exchange about a bottle of wine. I counseled that he should hang on to it for awhile before he drank it, and he agreed.
As it turned out, he didn't have awhile.
That exchange has haunted me.
Larry, I hope you're in a place where the Lytton Springs is flowing freely.
Happy listening,
Jim

Larry's contributions were so substantial, for so long ... Much as I know & accept his passing, I too open the forum somehow expecting to see a new posting from him - and I'm disappointed when it is not there (!). Yes, a sad but effective reminder that life is short, however long our years may be. We need to be grateful & appreciative, (for) every day.
You're right, today's all any of us have.
I miss LWR and his posts too, both here, and on Central.
I'm heading out in a few minutes to punch some holes through paper. LWR was a big Second Amendment advocate, so I'll be thinking of him while I'm out celebrating our freedom.
RIP LWR, and say hi to Jerry for us.
life is a one-way street.
8^)
