An album I have always liked is 'The House on the Hill', by Audience. It seems none of my friends has ever heard of it. Anyone here familiar with the group? My favorite songs are 'Jackdaw" and the title song 'The House on the Hill'.

...show the cover. The local underground station often played The House On The Hill and Jackdaw. My ears always pricked up upon hearing the opening notes of THOTH. Very haunting sounds on the title track.
The gate fold cover art of THOTH is also one of my all time favorite covers and one which I often show to visitors at chez ASHRA.
The cover art for their second LP is cool to.
Still spinnin'...

House on the Hill was a great album. He then went on to form Howard Werth and the Moonbeams if I recall correctly. Distinctive voice. At the time Audience and Roxy were 2 of the bands using horns nicely in the mix.
.
A favourite for many of us Canadians. In Winnipeg, Audience sold more records per capita than anywhere else in the world.
I still listen to that album and actually caught Audience live (though substantially older!) a few years back.
