I've always liked ALL Aerosmith up to Rocks.
Draw the line? A night in the Ruts-that was the start of their decline IMHO.
I'm gonna have to check the sleeve and see the breakdown for that great ROCKIN cut.
Are you sure? Joe's guitar is plugged into a talkbox, with him vocalizing the riff via a plastic tube(Peter Frampton)and doing the riffs. Brad is chugging away with that driving rhythm.
I saw them several times at their apex-Toys-Rocks tours. Don't remember if they did I that tune live, but as an Aero freak, I'm pretty confident Joe does the riffin.
I've mentioned several times here seeing them doing Rocks at the Santa Monica Civic with the unknown AC/DC opening. MAXIMUM ROCK AND ROLL
Follow Ups:
Do you mean to say "up through Rocks" or are you actually saying that you don't like "Rocks"?
Yes, thanks for catching that. I think "Rocks" is where Aerosmith peaked in creativity.
Everything after that, I gradually lost interest. Particularly after "Night in the Ruts"
Thankfully for Aerosmith, MTV revived their career in the late 80's.
