20 years ago, the Frontiers lineup of Journey (Jonathan Cain, Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Steve Smith, Ross Valory) reunited, and came out with the album, Trial By Fire. It would be the last time Steve Perry fronted Journey. They had a big hit, with "When You Love A Woman." When I got married in 2003, KJ and I wanted to appease our guests (most of whom were from San Francisco), and include a Journey song. "When You Love A Woman" fit the bill. As it turned out, "When You Love A Woman" played, while we cut the cake.
But back to Trial By Fire. Via my Theta/Classe'/Kimber/Thiel system, "If He Should Break Your Heart" didn't sound half-bad. In the 20 years since its release, I think I've only heard this song 5 times on the radio. So chances are, the audiophiles haven't heard it, either. It'll add depth to your Journey and adult contemporary library. Listening to it now, on a decent system, can turn back the clock 20 years.

That's my favorite song on that album.
There was also a Reggae flavored song that was interesting. I haven't listed to the album in quite a while - I shall remedy that.
Meat; It's the right thing to do. Romans 14:2
Not a bad album, too much time had gone by prior to the guys getting back together in mid -90's.
